Back in the summer of 2020, EA and developer Criterion confirmed a new release need for speed The game was under development. Since then, not only have we seen anything from the game, but we haven’t heard anything about the game. That hasn’t changed, but we do have the new leak mentioned above.
As you would expect, the leaked screenshot is not of high quality, which is usually what happens to this type of leak. Meanwhile, in addition to the screenshot, there is an image showing the entire game map, and another showing the game’s user interface. Currently, none of this has been validated in any way or form. The UI images and the map, in particular, seem to pass the sniff test, but the screenshot is somewhat questionable. Whatever the case, if this leak sparks any kind of comment from EA, Criterion, any industry insider, or other leakers, we’ll make sure to update the story accordingly.
As you know, the new Need for Speed game has been hit by some rumors recently, including rumors claiming that it will be on PC and current generation only, i.e. it will overtake PS4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, other rumors have indicated that it is set in Miami and will have an anime-like style.
